Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 26, 2026
TL;DR
CrunchAPI does not collect, store, or sell your personal data. The tools you use on this site run entirely in your browser — your inputs, tokens, JSON, files, and other data never leave your device. We use minimal aggregated traffic analytics that do not identify you.
What we collect
Tool inputs
We collect nothing. All tools (JSON Formatter, JWT Decoder, Base64, URL Encoder, UUID Generator, Cron Generator) run as JavaScript in your browser. Whatever you paste, type, or upload stays in your device's memory. No data is sent to our servers — in fact, the site is hosted as static files and has no application backend capable of receiving data.
Aggregated traffic data
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It records aggregated, non-identifying metrics: page views, referrers, country (derived from IP, not stored), browser, device type, and screen size. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not track users across sessions or sites. See Cloudflare's privacy documentation for details.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) automatically records basic HTTP request metadata for security and operational purposes: IP address, user-agent, requested URL, timestamp, HTTP status. These logs are retained for a short period (up to 30 days) by Cloudflare and are not accessible to us in identifiable form.
What we don't do
- ×We do not use advertising trackers, marketing pixels, or third-party scripts of any kind beyond what's listed above.
- ×We do not have user accounts, so we cannot collect anything tied to an identity.
- ×We do not sell, share, or transfer data to third parties for marketing.
- ×We do not place cookies on your device for tracking. (Cloudflare may set a security cookie to mitigate bots; this is not a tracking cookie.)
- ×We do not fingerprint your browser or device.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with comparable privacy rights, you have the right to:
- → Request access to any personal data we hold about you
- → Request correction or deletion of that data
- → Object to its processing
- → Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority
In practice, since we do not collect personal data tied to your identity, there is typically nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If you have a question or believe we hold data about you, contact us at [email protected].
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes (for example, if we add a new analytics service or feature), we will update this page and the “last updated” date above. Significant changes will be noted prominently on the site for at least 30 days.
